PS Plus Free Games Update: Sony Disappoints Players Over Wrong Lineup For January 2016
PlayStation Europe announced that Sony has "mistakenly included" "Legends of Wars: Patton's Campaign" in the list for the PS Vita handheld.
The gaming company didn't reveal why the wrong game has been listed though.
However, it could stem down to regional naming differences. North America PlayStation Store lists the game as "History Legends of War: Patton," while Europe has it as "History Legends of War" on the UK store Gamespot noted.
"Heads-up PS Plus members - Legends of War: Patton's Campaign (PSP) was mistakenly included in January's Monthly games," the official PlayStation tweet reads.
"It has now been replaced with History: Legends of War (PS Vita)."
The rest of the free games for January remains unchanged. "Hardware: Rivals " for the PS4 console will be free throughout the month of January.
The PS2 "Hardware: Online Arena" inspired game brings a mobile, vehicle attack game that allows challenge or online multiplayer mode with multiple maps, game modes, and special events.
In addition, "Grim Fandango Remastered" goes free as a cross-buy platform for PS4 and PS Vita.
"Players take on the role of Manny Calavera and experience the afterlife by assisting the souls make it through the land of dead. If you are thinking it probably isn't as easy as it sounds the you are right. Manny is required to figure out ways out of a conspiracy," described by CheatSheet.
As for the PS3 owners with active PS Plus subscription, "Medal of Honor Warfighter" and "Dragon Age: Origins" are both free for the month of January.
PS Vita gets a total of three free titles as "Nihilumbra" completes the January lineup of PS Plus games. .
Meanwhile, players have reported issues signing in on PlayStation Network, while others can't access online multiplayer. But it is not as widespread as the previous PSN system downtime, Express UK reported.
