aespa Opens a 26-Show World Tour Tonight. It's Barely Had a Day Off Lollapalooza.
aespa opens its fourth world tour, "SYNK: COMPLæXITY," with two nights at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome on Friday and Saturday - five days after the group's Lollapalooza debut in Chicago. The Live Nation-produced run covers more than 25 shows across Asia, Latin America, North America and Europe, running through early February 2027.
After the Seoul opener, the tour heads to Taipei Dome on August 11, then across Latin America starting September 4 in São Paulo, with stops in Santiago and Lima before Mexico City. The North American leg opens in mid-September and runs through early October across ten cities - eight in the U.S., including Washington, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas, Los Angeles, Oakland and Seattle, plus stops in Hamilton and Vancouver. The tour closes in Europe in January and February 2027, opening in Manchester and London before ending at Paris's Accor Arena.
The tour title continues a naming pattern SM Entertainment has used for aespa's tours since 2024 - "Synk: Parallel Line," then "Synk: æXIS Line," and now "Synk: COMPLæXITY" - each one functioning as a chapter marker in the ongoing "aes" storyline the group has built its concept around since debut. SM's teaser for the new tour stayed true to that approach: layered imagery and typography with no plot explained outright, leaving fans to piece together theories the way they have for every aespa release since 2020.
The tour is built around material from "LEMONADE," the group's second full-length Korean album, released in May - meaning the Seoul crowd gets the first arena-scale performance of that album's songs less than a week after a festival crowd in Chicago got the same songs, plus a surprise debut of "Switchblade" featuring Ty Dolla $ign that wasn't part of the album at all. Ticketing for the Seoul shows ran through Melon Ticket, with a fanclub presale in late June ahead of general sale - standard rollout for a domestic opener, even one carrying a tour this large on its back.
