BTS Released a Song Today That Was Only on Vinyl. It Took Two Months and a Fan Campaign.
"Come Over" has been on wax since April 3. That's when the deluxe vinyl edition of ARIRANG shipped to the fans who had ordered it, and one of its two bonus tracks - produced by Suga, with additional credits for RM and J-Hope - began circulating in clips online. On April 1, during a Weverse livestream, Jimin asked whether the track would come to streaming. The group's consensus was no. Suga said he hoped fans would enjoy what they had made, then added that he couldn't say everything yet.
Today, as part of BTS FESTA 2026, "Come Over" arrived on every major streaming platform at 1 p.m. KST. The group chose June 12 - the day of their first Busan concert, one day before their 13th debut anniversary - as the release date. The sustained fan campaign across social media that followed the April livestream is widely credited with contributing to the decision.
The track combines elements of pop and stadium anthems, built on synthesizer-driven instrumentation and layered vocals. The lyrics describe a journey of returning to a significant person despite periods of uncertainty - a theme BIGHIT MUSIC says also reflects the group's relationship with ARMY. The song was performed during select concerts on the Arirang World Tour, where audiences heard it live before it existed on streaming.
Alongside the digital single, BIGHIT released a new limited edition vinyl of ARIRANG expanded to 16 tracks - adding "Come Over" and "Voice Message: Love Song," a track built around recorded conversations between the members, to the original 14-track lineup.
BTS FESTA is the group's annual fan celebration marking their debut anniversary, a tradition running since 2014. This year's edition began June 4 with the return of the Festa family photo, followed by a "Hooligan" performance video, seven individual "Normal Log" video diaries, and new episodes of "Run BTS 2.0." The "Come Over" digital release is the final drop before June 13, when BTS performs the second of two Busan shows on their actual debut anniversary.
The Busan concerts at Asiad Main Stadium mark the group's return to the city for the first time since "Yet to Come in Busan" in October 2022 - the last full-group performance before members began enlisting. The June 13 show streams live to theaters worldwide.
