Three months after "Swim" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, the song is moving in the wrong direction for most acts at this stage of a release cycle - upward. On the June 13 chart, "Swim" climbed three spots to No. 41, its second consecutive weekly gain after bottoming out at No. 55 on May 30. The move extends the track's chart run to 11 weeks.

The context: pop singles typically peak in their first two to four weeks and spend the rest of their run declining. "Swim" peaked at No. 1 in week one, spent the next several weeks tracking downward as expected, then reversed in late May. The reversal coincides with BTS's Arirang World Tour reaching the US and now returning to Korea - a pattern of tour-driven streaming upticks the group has produced before. The song currently sits at No. 13 on Pop Airplay and No. 18 on Adult Pop Airplay, both career-relevant gains for a track 11 weeks out.

ARIRANG itself dropped two spots to No. 11 on the Billboard 200, its 11th consecutive week on the chart. It debuted at No. 1 with 641,000 equivalent album units - the biggest album week of 2026 and the largest for a duo or group since Taylor Swift's The Life of a Showgirl in October 2025. The album was the first K-pop record to spend three consecutive weeks at No. 1. Globally, "Swim" holds No. 5 on the Global 200 and No. 2 on Global Excl. U.S. for the 11th consecutive week, the latter marking the song's eighth total No. 1 on that chart and the most No. 1s for any track released in 2026.

Separately, Jungkook's "Euphoria" - released in 2018 as part of the Love Yourself: Answer repackage - crossed 700 million Spotify streams, making it his fifth solo track to reach that threshold. Jungkook's Spotify account has now surpassed 11 billion streams individually. The milestone arrives the day before BTS performs in Busan for the first time since October 2022.

BTS plays Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 12 and 13. The June 13 show, which falls on the group's 13th debut anniversary, streams live to theaters worldwide.
