ATEEZ Announce Golden Hour: Part.5 — Four Months After Part.4 Hit No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
On May 22, KQ Entertainment released a teaser film announcing ATEEZ's next album, Golden Hour: Part.5, due June 26 at 1 p.m. KST. The teaser - captioned "Question yourself" - is eerie and minimal, a notable shift in register from the explosive energy of Part.4's rollout.
The pace is fast. Golden Hour: Part.4 came out February 6. Part.5 arrives June 26. That's 140 days between studio releases - and the fifth installment of a series ATEEZ launched in May 2024 with no announced endpoint. For context: most major K-pop groups operate on six-to-nine-month cycles. ATEEZ is averaging closer to four. The Golden Hour run now spans two years, five EPs, and a continuously expanding commercial profile. Part.4 debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, sold 523,676 copies on Hanteo on its first day, crossed one million physical copies sold by February 10, and earned a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan in May. Its title track "Adrenaline" topped iTunes in 18 regions.
No tracklist, track titles, or featured artists have been announced for Part.5. The teaser's "Question yourself" framing suggests a conceptual pivot - though ATEEZ has used similarly cryptic language at the start of previous Golden Hour rollouts before delivering straightforward high-energy K-pop. Whether the series is deepening thematically or simply continuing its commercial momentum is, at this point, genuinely unclear.
ATEEZ are currently in the midst of their In Your Fantasy World Tour, with upcoming shows in Macau on May 23 and European dates in June. Their Seoul encore concerts at Olympic Park are scheduled June 19-21. The group is also confirmed to headline Rock in Rio in September - the same festival that Stray Kids, also a confirmed Rock in Rio headliner, is currently navigating with a member sidelined by injury.
Golden Hour: Part.5 is scheduled for June 26. A full promotional schedule - including tracklist, concept images, and performance plans - has not yet been released by KQ Entertainment.
