On April 14, ADOR confirmed that Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni visited Copenhagen, Denmark alongside staff. The agency offered no further details - no schedule, no purpose, no timeline. What it didn't deny was the detail that started the conversation: Hyein was photographed holding a professional filming camera inside a local shop.

Photos of Haerin and Hyein in the Danish capital began circulating on Weibo on April 12. Eyewitnesses described brief encounters on the street. "I ran into Haerin and Hyein in Copenhagen," one wrote. "I told them they were beautiful and they smiled and said thank you. They even said goodbye when they left." It was later confirmed that Hanni had also traveled with them. Mechatok - a Berlin-based experimental producer who has previously worked with NewJeans - was floated by fans on X as a possible reason for the trip, though neither ADOR nor the members have commented on it.

The context behind the sighting matters. NewJeans spent most of the past year and a half in legal limbo. In November 2024, all five members announced they were terminating their contracts with ADOR, citing the dismissal of CEO Min Hee-jin. ADOR contested the claim, filed for confirmation of the contracts' validity, and won. Following that ruling, Haerin and Hyein announced their return in November 2025. Hanni followed in December. Minji is still in discussions with the agency. Danielle's contract was terminated by ADOR in December 2025; the company is simultaneously pursuing a 43.1 billion KRW ($28.6 million) damages lawsuit against her, a family member, and former CEO Min Hee-jin, with the first hearing held at Seoul Central District Court on March 26.

Three days before the Copenhagen sightings, Danielle posted a demo track to her personal Instagram on April 11 - her birthday - with no caption. The clip, a laid-back pop track rumored to be titled "Fly High," was the first time she used the account for music since opening it in January. It has since passed one million followers.

The Copenhagen trip is the first confirmed overseas coordinated schedule involving three NewJeans members since the dispute began. It doesn't signal a comeback date - ADOR didn't say that - but it's the clearest indication since the members' return announcements that the group is actively working again. What form that takes, and with how many members, is still unresolved. Minji's status has not changed as of Tuesday.
