How KiiiKiii Turned a Web Error Code into K-Pop's Biggest Song of Early 2026

Three weeks after dropping "404 (New Era)," KiiiKiii is still all over the charts - and showing no signs of slowing down.

The five-member group's second EP Delulu Pack came out January 26, and its title track has since become the first song released this year to top Melon's weekly chart (February 9-15). That's notable on its own, but what stands out more is that the song has held Melon's No. 1 slot - real-time, daily, and weekly - without much sign of fading. KiiiKiii also took back-to-back weekly popularity awards on Melon through the first two weeks of February.

It's not just one platform. "404 (New Era)" topped YouTube Music's weekly and daily charts, Bugs' weekly chart, and Apple Music's trending chart in South Korea, all in the same stretch. In China, QQ Music ranked the song No. 2 on its Korean chart for February 6-12 - the same platform where the entire Delulu Pack tracklist landed on rising charts the day it came out. In Japan, the track hit No. 2 on Oricon's weekly streaming rise chart (February 2-8) and charted on Billboard Japan's Hot Albums and Hot Shot Songs charts as of February 11.

KiiiKiii finished their music show run on February 15, having won on Show! Champion, Show! Music Core, and M Countdown. Even after wrapping promotions, the song keeps spreading - challenge videos from other artists and creators are still going up, and the track is showing up regularly as background music in social media posts.

The concept behind the song is simple but effective. "404 Not Found," the internet's most familiar dead-end error message, gets flipped into a statement about not needing a predetermined path. The track itself is built on UK house and garage rhythms, with punchy rap sections running alongside the group's vocals. It's a sound that works both as a performance and on streaming platforms - which helps explain why it's outlasted the promotional cycle.

KiiiKiii debuted in March 2025 under Starship Entertainment, the label also home to IVE and MONSTA X. Their first EP Uncut Gem crossed 30 million Spotify streams and earned early coverage from Rolling Stone, The FADER, and The Hollywood Reporter. Delulu Pack is their second EP - a six-track set that pulls from disco, hip-hop, retro K-pop, and house, with the final track produced by Tablo of Epik High.
