FNC's AxMxP Shares Lunar New Year 2026 Greetings in Hanbok After Double D Awards Win
FNC Entertainment's rookie rock band AxMxP rang in the Year of the Snake with traditional hanbok photos and ambitious goals for 2026. The four-member group-Ha Yoojoon, Kim Shin, Cru, and Juhwan-released their Lunar New Year greetings on February 17 through their agency.
"I hope this year is filled with health and happiness," vocalist Ha Yoojoon said. "We want to make this a year where we show AxMxP's colors more clearly, with improvements in both performances and music."
Guitarist Kim Shin wished fans warmth during the cold season, while American-born drummer Cru emphasized their connection with fandom DX. Bassist Juhwan referenced the zodiac: "With the power of the red horse, let's all run hard together."
The New Year message comes during a breakthrough period for the band, who debuted just five months ago in September 2025.
Chart Success for "Amplify My Way"
AxMxP's first mini-album "Amplify My Way" sold 86,232 copies in its first week after releasing January 21, topping Hanteo Chart's weekly ranking for January 26-February 1. Double title tracks "PASS" and "Thereafter" both cracked the top 5 on the weekly music video chart, with "Thereafter" continuing to chart even after promotions wrapped.
The album showcased the band's growing creative involvement-all four members contributed to songwriting, with guitarist Kim Shin composing his first solo track.
D Awards Recognition
On February 11, AxMxP won both D Awards Discovery and D Awards Remark at their first-ever awards ceremony. The rookie band performed alongside established acts at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium, collaborating with former "Boys Planet" contestant Chuei Li Yu.
Spring Tour Schedule
The band has three major performances lined up: the 2026 JOY Concert - Voice of Spring on February 21, their solo concert "DO IT MY WAY" at Rolling Hall on March 7, and Beautiful Mint Life 2026 on May 30.
AxMxP follows FNC Entertainment's band legacy including FTISLAND, CNBLUE, and N.Flying. Unlike most rookie acts who debut with mini-albums, AxMxP launched with a full 10-track album in September 2025, returning with their first comeback just four months later.
