Second-generation K-pop group 2PM will perform at Tokyo Dome in May 2026, marking their first full-group concert at the iconic venue in 10 years.

JYP Entertainment announced February 2 that the six-member group will hold "2PM Japan 15th Anniversary Concert 'THE RETURN' in TOKYO DOME" on May 9-10. The concerts come just ahead of 2PM's official Japanese debut anniversary on May 18, when the group will mark 15 years since releasing their debut Japanese single "Take Off" in 2011.

The Tokyo Dome shows represent 2PM's first full-group performance in Japan since October 2023, when they held "It's 2PM" at Tokyo Ariake Arena. That concert came six years after their military service hiatus, which began in 2017.

The "THE RETURN" title carries particular weight for the group and Japanese fans. 2PM last performed at Tokyo Dome in 2016, before members began enlisting for mandatory military service. Their 2013 "LEGEND OF 2PM" Tokyo Dome concerts drew over 110,000 attendees, cementing their status as one of the few K-pop acts to headline the prestigious venue.

All six members-Jun.K, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho, and Chansung-have maintained successful solo careers across music, television dramas, films, variety shows, and advertising during the years between group activities. Lee Junho in particular gained widespread recognition for his leading role in the 2021 historical drama "The Red Sleeve," while Taecyeon has built a substantial acting portfolio with roles in multiple Korean dramas.

2PM debuted in South Korea in September 2008 with "10 Out of 10" and entered the Japanese market in May 2011. The group achieved significant commercial success in Japan, becoming the second best-selling new artist in the country in 2011 with $12.68 million in sales from singles, albums, and DVDs. Multiple Japanese singles and albums earned Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

The group released their seventh Korean studio album "Must" and Japanese EP "With Me Again" in 2021 following their post-military reunion, demonstrating their continued relevance despite the lengthy hiatus.

Fan club pre-sales for the May concerts began immediately after the announcement, with strong demand expected given the milestone nature of the event and 2PM's devoted Japanese fanbase.
