SNSD's Yuri Closes Asia Tour with Member Reunions and Charity at Seoul Fan Meeting
Girls' Generation's Kwon Yuri ended her Asia fan meeting tour in Seoul last week with surprise visits from groupmates Hyoyeon and Sooyoung, capping off a four-city run that included a charitable donation.
The January 24 show at Yonsei University's Centennial Hall marked the finale of the "YURIVERSE" tour, which started in Bangkok on November 1 before moving through Ho Chi Minh City (November 15) and Taipei (January 10).
Member Reunion Highlights Seoul Show
Fellow Girls' Generation members Hyoyeon and Sooyoung appeared unannounced during the Seoul performance, sharing stories about their recent collaboration concept known as "Hyori-Su" among fans. The trio's chemistry drew strong reactions from the audience.
Yuri performed solo material alongside Girls' Generation medleys and cover songs. The show featured exclusive behind-the-scenes content and interactive moments where she created personalized gifts for attendees onstage.
Charity Donation Supports Regional Communities
Following the Seoul performance, Yuri donated part of the ticket proceeds to Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI). The organization will direct funds toward child development and community support programs in the four tour cities.
"Thank you for taking your precious time to be here," Yuri told the Seoul crowd. "I will keep today's memories, your cheers, and the pink waves in my heart for a long time."
What's Next for Yuri
The singer-actress returns to theater next month in "THE WASP," a psychological thriller running March 8-April 26 at Sejong S Theater. She plays Carla, one half of a two-person cast exploring themes of class division and revenge.
This marks Yuri's first stage role since 2020, following her 2024 film "Somebody" where she portrayed a trauma specialist with memory loss.
Girls' Generation debuted in August 2007, making 2026 their 18th year as a group despite members pursuing individual careers across music, acting, and variety entertainment.
