New York's Empire State Building has released video content featuring BTS member Jin across its official social media platforms, adding to the promotional buildup for BTS's March 20, 2026 group comeback. The posts have generated enthusiastic responses from the global BTS fanbase.
The iconic landmark shared Jin content through its official X account, continuing its tradition of highlighting major cultural moments and global artists. Fans responded with comments noting the recognition reflects BTS's cultural influence as the group prepares to release their first album together in nearly four years.
The May 2025 Echo Celebration
Jin's connection to the Empire State Building dates back to May 20, 2025, when he attended a lighting ceremony celebrating his second solo mini-album "Echo," released May 16, 2025. The building illuminated in the album's symbolic colors-blue for hope, pink for love, yellow for joy, and white for new beginnings.
About 100 fans gathered on the 80th floor for an intimate event partnered with iHeartMedia. Jin performed his title track "Don't Say You Love Me" live and participated in an interview with radio host Crystal Rojas. The lighting ceremony featured Jin activating the tower lights himself.
Following his military discharge in June 2024, Jin released his debut solo album "Happy" in November 2024, then quickly returned with "Echo" six months later. He launched his first solo world tour, the RUN SEOKJIN EP. TOUR, which ran from June 28 to November 1, 2025 across nine cities including dates in Goyang, Chiba, Osaka, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark, London, and Amsterdam.
BTS Returns March 2026
BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed BTS's comeback date of March 20, 2026 on January 1 through official announcements and fan club letters. The album marks the group's first full release since "Proof" in June 2022.
All seven members completed mandatory South Korean military service throughout 2024 and 2025, reuniting in June 2025 to begin recording. In November 2025, member RM shared that the album was complete and the music was "coming out really well."
The group plans an extensive world tour called "ARIRANG" following the album release, with 79 shows scheduled across 34 regions from April 2026 through March 2027. The tour represents BTS's largest-ever global undertaking, spanning Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia.
