Korean Band DAY6 Completes Hong Kong Stop on Historic Anniversary Tour
JYP Entertainment's rock quartet DAY6 wrapped two sold-out nights at Hong Kong's AsiaWorld-Arena on January 17-18, bringing their decade-spanning catalog to thousands of fans as part of their global anniversary trek.
The concerts featured hits spanning the band's career, from early favorites like "Time of Our Life" and "Melt Down" to tracks from their September 2025 album "The DECADE," including double title tracks "Dream Bus" and "INSIDE OUT."
"These concerts felt too short because we all had so much fun," the members said after the shows. "The energy we receive from performing will help us live more passionately going forward."
First Korean Band to Sell Out Major Stadium
DAY6 launched the tour with groundbreaking shows at Goyang Stadium last August 30-31, becoming the first Korean band to headline and sell out the 40,000-capacity venue. The achievement caps a steady climb from 500-person clubs in 2015 to stadiums a decade later.
The Asian leg continues through spring with performances in Manila (January 24), Kuala Lumpur (January 31), Daegu (February 7-8), Taipei (March 7-8), Gwangju (March 14-15), and Daejeon (March 21-22). Japan dates include Singapore (April 18), Tokyo (April 25-26), Busan (May 16-17), and Kobe (June 20-21).
New Album Marks Comeback After Six Years
"The DECADE" represents DAY6's first full-length release since 2019's "The Book of Us: Entropy." All 10 tracks feature member contributions, with longtime collaborator Hong Ji-sang handling arrangements. Upon release, every song entered the Melon Top 100 chart.
The band-SUNGJIN, Young K, WONPIL, and DOWOON-spent 2025 hitting milestones including selling out KSPO DOME in May and achieving their first 100 million YouTube views with "You Were Beautiful" in December.
The tour follows their "Forever Young" world tour, which concluded in May 2025 after 45 shows across 23 regions, cementing DAY6's status as one of K-pop's premier live acts.
