BLACKPINK dropped the news fans have been waiting for-their third mini album "Deadline" hits streaming platforms February 27, 2026, at 1 p.m. KST (midnight EST).

YG Entertainment confirmed the release Wednesday through a 19-second teaser featuring the group's signature pink aesthetic. Streaks of light cut through darkness while sound effects built tension before revealing the album title and date.

The album takes its name from the quartet's ongoing stadium tour, which launched last July at Goyang Stadium in South Korea. After hitting major venues across North America and Europe-including a historic stop at London's Wembley Stadium in August-the tour wraps with three Tokyo Dome shows January 16-18, followed by the Hong Kong finale at Kai Tak Stadium January 24-26.

"Jump" Proves BLACKPINK Still Dominates Charts

The mini album's expected to include "Jump," the group's July 2025 comeback single that shot to No. 1 on both Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts. The track pulled 123 million streams in its first week-the biggest opening for any female artist in 2025-and became the first song in four months to crack 100 million weekly streams worldwide.

That success gave BLACKPINK their third Global 200 chart-topper and extended their record as the K-pop girl group with the most No. 1 hits on Billboard's global rankings.

First Group Release Since 2022

"Deadline" marks BLACKPINK's first mini album since 2019's "Kill This Love" and their first full-group project in over three years. The last time all four members-Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa-released music together was 2022's "Born Pink," which produced hits like "Pink Venom" and "Shut Down."

Since then, each member's built their solo career. Rosé scored a massive hit with "APT." featuring Bruno Mars, Lisa dropped "Alter Ego" and joined "The White Lotus" cast, Jennie released "Ruby," and Jisoo balanced music with acting projects.

YG Entertainment says production's been complete for months, with the team focused on perfecting every detail. "We're deeply grateful to fans who've waited," the company stated. "We'll deliver music worthy of that patience."

The February release sets up a huge K-pop spring, with BLACKPINK's comeback landing just ahead of other major group returns announced for 2026.
