N.Flying Closes Record-Breaking 10th Anniversary Year with Emotional Seoul Encore Concerts
Rock band N.Flying wrapped their milestone 10th anniversary with three sold-out encore concerts at Seoul's Ticketlink Live Arena from December 19-21, 2025, capping a year that brought unprecedented career success and reaffirmed their reputation as K-pop's premier live performers.
Banner Year Sets Stage for Anniversary Finale
2025 proved transformative for N.Flying after members Cha Hun, Kim Jae-hyun, and Seo Dong-sung completed military service. Their May comeback with second full album "Everlasting" nearly doubled previous records, moving 101,997 copies in its first week-obliterating the 52,800 sold by 2022's "Dearest."
The momentum continued when "Everlasting" won on "The Show" June 10, marking their first music show trophy in six years since "Rooftop" dominated in 2019. Between festival appearances and their ongoing "2025 N.Flying LIVE WORLD TOUR '&CON4: FULL CIRCLE,'" the five-piece maintained a relentless schedule that justified their "live performance masters" reputation.
Encore Shows Deliver Unique Experiences
The December concerts sold out immediately, demonstrating N.Flying's sustained ticket power. While maintaining the "&CON4" branding, the setlist underwent major changes to reward returning fans.
Following their tradition of linking concert series, the shows opened with "Songbird"-the planned finale from May's Seoul concerts-creating continuity across the tour. Twenty-five songs spanned their catalog, mixing fan favorites like "Blue Moon," "I Like You," and "Flashback" with newer tracks including "HAPPY ME!," "Love You Like That," and "Moebius."
Drummer's Dream Becomes Winter Magic
The concerts' highlight fulfilled drummer Kim Jae-hyun's longtime wish to perform center stage. After a playful "magic spell," a drum kit rose from the extended stage's center to fan eruption.
The five members gathered around for stripped-down winter versions of "Zip." and "To You," then launched into holiday covers: "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!," "Isn't She Lovely," and "All I Want for Christmas Is You." These exclusive performances showcased the band's versatility while creating intimate seasonal moments.
Orchestra Elevates Second Half
Twenty orchestra members joined for the latter portion, adding dramatic weight to "Spring Memories," "Flashback," and "Firefly." Despite packed tour schedules, N.Flying rehearsed five times over two months to nail the collaboration.
Two tracks received live debuts: "Still You" and "LOG." Vocalist Yoo Hwe-seung acknowledged "Still You's" brutal difficulty-even for someone dubbed the "high note textbook," the song had seemed impossible to perform live.
"Every time fans asked, I pretended not to hear," Yoo admitted onstage. "But I wanted to give this to you. To complete the 'Full Circle,' I needed to grow. I'm proud we pulled it off three nights." He added with characteristic humor: "Will we do it again? Let me think about that."
Composer Lee Seung-hyub revealed the keys were Yoo's choice: "When writing, I ask if the key works. He says it needs to be this high to really reach hearts."
"LOG" carried special weight as encouragement. Lee explained: "From waiting for members to return through everything fans documented-those points became guideposts on our life's map. I wanted to tell everyone: you're doing well, don't doubt yourself, keep moving forward."
Co-writer Yoo detailed his inspiration: "Around this time yearly, even people who've done well start worrying. Through my YouTube where I talk with N.Fia, thousands ask 'Can I do this?' I wanted to tell everyone here: you're all doing well."
Performing lyrics like "We're still going well / Even if we can't know how brightly we'll shine" and "You're doing well / No one knows the right answer," Yoo's eyes glistened with emotion before thanking fans as the song ended.
Five-Song Encore Ignites Arena
After the planned 25 tracks plus encores "Everlasting," "E-YO," and "Rooftop," sustained fan chants brought five more: "Hot Potato," "The Real," "You," "GOOD BAM," and "Leave It." The extended finale turned the handball gymnasium into what members called a pressure cooker.
Reflections on Growth and Challenges
Yoo Hwe-seung called the three nights "the scene I'd remember most if my life were a movie. Seeing each of you made me want to cry. I want to see you for a very long time."
Lee Seung-hyub addressed the year's intensity: "We ran through every performance possible, to where N.Fia worried. Sometimes it was too much, but we balanced carefully. To reach this venue and still grow after 10 years-we're grateful." He continued honestly: "Not everything was easy. What helps us overcome pain is wanting to give you energy and become someone great."
Kim Jae-hyun opened up about self-doubt: "This year I questioned 'Can I actually do this?' During 'LOG,' your eyes told me 'you're doing well.' So I want to tell everyone: nothing you did in 2025 was meaningless. You've done well and will continue, so don't worry."
Cha Hun reflected: "Each day feels different-we perform the same songs but receive different energy. When I can't play as I want, it's frustrating. But your gazes heal me, giving comfort I couldn't give myself. I'm certain we'll reach an even bigger venue."
Seo Dong-sung emphasized mutual support: "When N.Fia say they gain strength from concerts, I feel comforted. We gain strength from you too. Making it through December means you're strong. May good things outnumber bad. Have a happy year."
Traditional Farewell, Future Promise
Kim Jae-hyun gathered the group for their signature closing: "Today isn't the end. N.Flying will keep flying forward. Don't fall behind-let's fly together. We're preparing to soar again."
The band shouted while bowing deeply: "Until now, this has been N.Flying. Thank you!" Fans responded: "Until now, this has been N.Fia. We love you!" The exchange captured a decade of mutual dedication.
N.Flying continues year-end appearances at "2025 Someday Christmas - Busan," "Inomas Music Series 2," and "Countdown Fantasy 2025-2026" before their world tour concludes in Taipei on January 25, 2026-closing a 10th anniversary year that proved they're still ascending.
