Influencer Lee Joo-young posted photos with BIGBANG's G-Dragon on Instagram, revealing their enduring friendship after his Übermensch World Tour finale.

The 24-year-old DL Group heiress shared a December 17 Instagram post captioned "home sweet home for the holidays," mixing daily snapshots with a backstage photo alongside the K-pop star. The post drew immediate attention for showcasing their longtime connection.

Lee attended G-Dragon's concert and met him backstage. In the photo, G-Dragon wore a checkered jacket with sunglasses on his head while holding white daisies-apparently from Lee, who posed in a black leather jacket and luxury bag. She also displayed G-Dragon merchandise including phone cases and collectibles.

Their friendship traces back to BIGBANG's early days. Lee has previously shared childhood photos featuring herself with G-Dragon and Taeyang, demonstrating relationships that have lasted over a decade.

Born in 2000, Lee is granddaughter of DL Group honorary chairman Lee Jun-yong and daughter of Comtech CEO Lee Hae-chang. The fourth-generation chaebol heir has built her own platform with 130,000 Instagram followers and 50,000 YouTube subscribers.

She graduated Georgetown University with degrees in International Business and Marketing, then earned admission to Georgetown Law with a scholarship. Despite her wealth, Lee has gained fans for relatable moments, including shopping on budget Korean e-commerce sites.

Lee maintains elite connections beyond G-Dragon. She's close with Annie from ALLDAY PROJECT, granddaughter of Shinsegae Group chairwoman Lee Myung-hee. These networks between Korea's business dynasties and entertainment world rarely get public exposure.

The backstage meeting coincided with G-Dragon concluding his Übermensch World Tour on December 14 at Gocheok Sky Dome. The tour marked his first world run in eight years, hitting 39 shows across 17 cities and drawing 825,000 fans-the largest tour by a Korean solo artist.

Seoul's finale delivered a BIGBANG reunion. Taeyang and Daesung joined G-Dragon for "Home Sweet Home," "We Like 2 Party," and "Fool of Tears"-their first live collaboration since September. G-Dragon teased 2026 anniversary plans, hinting at Coachella and referencing April as a "workshop" period.

The tour earned praise for ambitious production including augmented reality, holograms, and pyrotechnics. Early Goyang shows faced criticism over G-Dragon's vocals, which he addressed directly at the finale.

Lee's post captures where Korean entertainment meets generational wealth. As she pursues law school and G-Dragon closes his most successful solo chapter, their friendship represents enduring bonds shaping Korea's cultural landscape.
