BTS Mobile Game Adds Holiday Costumes and V Birthday Events in December Update
DreamAge rolled out fresh winter content for "BTS Island: In the SEOM" on December 9, featuring festive character outfits and special events celebrating V's upcoming birthday.
The mobile puzzle game's latest "2025 Holiday" theme lets players unlock seasonal costumes styled after each BTS member's personality. Fans earn these outfits, plus card packs and gameplay boosters, by collecting points from completed match-3 puzzles.
Winter Challenge Offers Physical Merchandise
A month-long "Sparkling Winter Challenge" launches December 16 and runs through January 13. Players completing event missions can snag puzzle items and enter drawings for actual BTS merchandise including the Worldwide HandSEOM SET, collectible figures, and 2025 FESTA gear.
Special Events Mark V's Birthday
The game celebrates V's December 30 birthday with two events. An attendance bonus runs December 24 through January 6, while a quest event from December 30 to January 6 rewards players with a "Birthday Hat Polar Bear" decoration.
V completed his mandatory military service in June 2025 after enlisting in December 2023. His solo debut album "Layover" broke first-week sales records for a Korean solo artist when it dropped in September 2023.
New Story Episode Launches
Paradise Island's ninth episode arrived with the update. The storyline picks up after FESTA celebrations as the BTS characters discover a penguin drifting on a raft, setting up their next adventure.
The free-to-download game launched in June 2022 with direct creative input from all seven BTS members. SUGA produced the game's original soundtrack "Our Island," while the members shaped everything from character designs to individual puzzle levels. Available on iOS and Android, the game blends match-3 mechanics with island customization and character-driven stories.
DreamAge operates as a game development subsidiary under HYBE Corporation. The company rebranded from HYBE IM in mid-2025 as it shifted focus toward broader game publishing beyond K-pop properties.
