KiiiKiii Delivers Emotional Band Performance of Tablo's "To Me From Me" on it's Live
Rookie girl group KiiiKiii has unveiled a stripped-down acoustic version of their Tablo-produced single, revealing new vocal colors beyond their signature energetic style.
The five-member group performed "To Me From Me (Prod. TABLO)" on YouTube channel it's Live, accompanied by a live band arrangement. Members Jiyu, Leesol, Sui, Haum, and Kya showcased harmonized vocals against guitar and percussion, creating an intimate atmosphere distinct from their typical bright concepts.
The performance emphasized the song's introspective lyrics about daily anxieties and self-doubt, with lines like "playing hide and seek with anxious thoughts again today" and "looking in the mirror, nothing feels right / this world gets harder and harder" delivered through warm, layered harmonies.
Tablo Collaboration Marks Artistic Shift
Released November 4, "To Me From Me" serves as the soundtrack for Dear.X: Tomorrow's Me, Today's Me, a Kakao Entertainment web novel starring KiiiKiii as protagonists. The ballad represents a deliberate departure from the group's dance-pop foundation, conveying messages of self-belief during uncertain times.
Epik High's Tablo co-wrote the track with his daughter Haru, aiming to capture perspectives relevant to KiiiKiii's generation. The collaboration pairs the group's delicate vocals with Tablo's melancholic production style.
The web novel, written by Kim Bbang (author of Lovely Runner's source material), follows the five members through a fantasy adventure exploring themes of anxiety, friendship, and personal growth in an unfamiliar world.
Sixth Rookie Award Adds to Rapid Rise
KiiiKiii won the IS Rising Star award at the 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards on November 14, becoming their sixth rookie honor since March. Previous wins include awards from Seoul Music Awards, K-World Dream Awards, The Fact Music Awards (Next Leader Award), and ASEA 2025.
The Starship Entertainment group debuted March 24 with EP Uncut Gem and secured their first music show win 12 days later on MBC's Show! Music Core. They topped rookie idol brand reputation rankings for four consecutive months and released digital single "Dancing Alone" in August, establishing presence on global streaming platforms.
