FIFTY FIFTY's Travel Series "Fifty Trip" Ends with 10 Million Views
Girl group's four-month journey across Asia concludes as new comeback gains momentum
FIFTY FIFTY wrapped their travel content series "Fifty Trip" on November 14, marking the end of a four-month project that racked up over 10 million views. The final episode featured the members exploring Jeju Island, capping off visits to Vietnam, Japan, and China.
The series launched in July with Chanelle and Athena's Vietnam trip. Later episodes followed Yewon and Keena through Japan, then brought all five members together for the China leg. Each destination highlighted local culture while showcasing the group's chemistry off-stage.
Vietnam's episodes resonated especially with international audiences. Chanelle and Athena, both foreign-born members without family in Korea, explored Nha Trang's beaches and amusement parks. The authentic portrayal drew strong engagement from fans in the featured countries.
Released weekly, "Fifty Trip" demonstrated how quality self-produced content can build audience connection beyond music releases. The 10 million view milestone sets up expectations for a potential second season.
Comeback Momentum Builds
The travel series' conclusion coincides with active promotions for "Too Much Part 1," released November 4. Lead track "Eeny Meeny Miny Moe" (가위바위보) hit 10 million YouTube views in three days-faster than previous single "Pookie."
The song uses rock-paper-scissors as a metaphor for romantic uncertainty. Its choreography incorporates the game's hand gestures, contributing to viral spread online. B-side "Skittlez" marks the group's first hip-hop experimentation while maintaining their "Fifty Pop" accessibility.
FIFTY FIFTY relaunched in August 2024 with current members Keena, Chanelle Moon, Yewon, Hana, and Athena. Their 2023 hit "Cupid" charted for 25 consecutive weeks on Billboard Hot 100, the longest run for any K-pop song.
