ENHYPEN Releases Justin Bieber's "Mistletoe" Cover for Apple Music Holiday Collection
K-pop group ENHYPEN joined Apple Music's exclusive 2025 holiday lineup with their rendition of Justin Bieber's Christmas classic "Mistletoe," dropping November 11 as the only Korean act featured in this year's Carols Covered campaign.
Apple Music's Holiday Exclusive
The seven-member group transforms Bieber's 2011 hit into a softer, harmony-rich ballad while maintaining the original's romantic essence. Members JUNGWON, HEESEUNG, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNOO, and NI-KI alternate lead vocals throughout the track, available exclusively through Apple Music's spatial audio format.
Apple Music's annual Carols Covered series showcases international artists reinterpreting holiday favorites. ENHYPEN's participation marks significant recognition for the group, which is marking their fifth year since debuting November 30, 2020.
From Childhood Favorite to Cover Song
The selection carries personal significance for multiple members. Jake revealed his longtime admiration for Bieber, noting the song evokes childhood memories. The group collectively described "Mistletoe" as a yearly tradition, drawn to lyrics that mirror their relationship with fans ENGENE.
Bieber's original peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has accumulated over 537 million YouTube views. The song led his "Under the Mistletoe" album, which became the first Christmas record by a male artist to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
ENHYPEN's Bieber Connection
This isn't ENHYPEN's first tribute to the Canadian pop star. HEESEUNG previously covered "Off My Face," while JUNGWON released his version of "Monster" (Bieber's collaboration with Shawn Mendes) in February 2025.
Milestone Year Continues
The holiday release caps a successful year for ENHYPEN. Their album "DESIRE: UNLEASH" debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in June, following their Coachella debut and U.S. tour launch at New York's UBS Arena earlier this year.
The group will celebrate their fifth debut anniversary on November 22 with an ENniversary Night fan event at Seoul's Lotte World Adventure, where 3,000 fans are expected to attend.
