JYP Entertainment's girl group ITZY drops their new mini album 'TUNNEL VISION' on November 10 at 6 PM KST, marking a fresh start after all five members renewed their contracts in September.

The comeback arrives five months after 'Girls Will Be Girls' and signals ITZY's commitment to their seven-year partnership. Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna each contributed to the album's six tracks, working alongside heavyweight producers to craft their most mature sound yet.

Star Producer Dem Jointz Behind Title Track

American producer Dem Jointz-known for hits with Eminem, Rihanna, and Dr. Dre-produced the title track alongside SM Entertainment's KENZIE. The song blends hip-hop beats with brass elements, creating what Yeji describes as "tension right before an explosion."

Ryujin calls the album a "destination point" that connects ITZY's self-love message with goal-driven focus. The title track explores tunnel vision as both heightened awareness and selective attention, encouraging listeners to chase their own light at their own pace.

The tracklist includes 'Focus,' 'DYT,' 'Flicker,' 'Nocturne,' and '8-BIT HEART,' each building on the album's immersion theme.

La Chica and Kirsten Choreograph Afro-Hip Hop Dance

ITZY tapped renowned dance crew La Chica and choreographer Kirsten for performance direction. The choreography draws from Afro and hip-hop styles, featuring precise isolation movements and formation work inspired by the tunnel concept.

"We have everything from isolation to a shooting formation," the group shared. Yuna highlighted Lia's narrated "Focus" section as a killing part, praising her stage presence.

During music video filming, fans spotted the members covered in red substance, sparking rumors they were shooting a ketchup commercial. "We thought it would be funny if it actually happened," Yeji laughed.

Early Contract Renewal Beats Seven-Year Curse

All five members renewed with JYP Entertainment on September 20, ahead of their early 2026 expiration date. The announcement came during their fourth fan meeting "ON AIR" at KBS Arena.

JYP's statement emphasized "mutual trust" as the foundation for early renewal, pledging continued support for ITZY's global activities. The move helps them avoid the notorious seven-year curse that dissolves many K-pop groups.

"We want to repay the love we've received through music," Yeji said. "Being together has made every moment happier."

Third World Tour Launches February 2026

ITZY announced their 'TUNNEL VISION' world tour alongside the album, kicking off February 13-15, 2026 at Seoul's Jamsil Indoor Stadium. This marks their first tour since 'Born to Be' wrapped in August 2024 after 30 shows across 28 cities.

The upcoming tour promises to showcase strengthened teamwork following contract renewal. ITZY debuted in February 2019, making 2026 their seventh year-a milestone few groups reach intact.

Active 2025 Performance Schedule

Throughout 2025, ITZY maintained visibility across major platforms. They performed at Waterbomb Seoul, Trendy Taipei, Taipei Dome for a baseball event, and various university festivals. At Taipei Dome, the members expressed gratitude seeing the venue filled with MIDZY light sticks.

"Our strength is healthy energy and creating stages together with the audience," they said.

Member Perspectives on New Chapter

When asked about recent obsessions, members revealed personal pursuits beyond music. Ryujin mentioned streaming series, while Chaeryeong discussed investing time in self-development. "Time passes so quickly-I want to spend it meaningfully," she explained.

Chaeryeong summed up the album as "loving yourself while focused on your goals." The members exchanged heartfelt messages acknowledging their journey together, with each expressing excitement about their strengthened bond.

"We'll continue at our own pace," concluded the group, "feeling every moment together fully."
