FIFTY FIFTY Drops "Gawibawibo" Single: K-Pop Group's November 2025 Comeback With Hip-Hop Debut
K-pop quintet FIFTY FIFTY released their digital single "Too Much Part 1" on November 4, 2025, returning to the scene six months after their last mini-album "Day & Night."
Rock-Paper-Scissors Romance
The title track "Gawibawibo (Eeny meeny miny moe)" uses the childhood game as a metaphor for romantic beginnings. With bright synths and rhythmic hooks, the song embodies what the group calls their "FIFTY POP" sound-a blend of accessible pop melodies with playful lyrics about the nervous excitement of new love.
An English version accompanies the Korean track, targeting international listeners.
First Hip-Hop Track
B-side "Skittlez" marks the group's debut in hip-hop. The minimal track compares sudden emotional bursts to the colorful candy, showcasing range beyond their signature pop style.
Pre-Release Event
The group performed both tracks at a November 2 busking event in Seoul's Gangnam district, previewing the release for fans and generating early buzz.
Group Background
FIFTY FIFTY's current lineup features Keena, Chanelle Moon, Yewon, Hana, and Athena. Following a 2023 legal dispute that led to member departures, the group reorganized in September 2024 and has since released two projects: the "Love Tune" EP and the "Day & Night" mini-album.
The digital single is now available on major streaming platforms, with full promotional activities underway.
