SM Entertainment's rising six-member boy group RIIZE transformed New York City's skyline on October 29, bathing the Empire State Building in orange light to mark their debut world tour.

The lighting ceremony, partnered with Amazon Music, celebrated the launch of the group's RIIZING LOUD tour while reinforcing their brand identity through their signature sunrise-orange color.

Symbolism Behind the Orange Glow

The members connected their performance to the building's symbolic meaning during the event. Their group name merges "Rise" (growth) and "Realize" (achieving dreams), while their orange color represents sunrise-themes that aligned naturally with the landmark's reputation as a beacon of hope.

"Standing at this building, which has inspired so many people, makes our dreams feel more vivid and attainable," the group stated at the ceremony.

Charitable Contribution

RIIZE's team donated to Musicians On Call in the group's name during the event. The New York-based nonprofit, established in 1999, delivers live music performances to hospital patients' bedsides.

The gesture reflected the group's stated belief in music's therapeutic value. "We're honored to support this mission of connecting and comforting people through music," they said.

Fan Engagement and Tour Schedule

Following the ceremony, RIIZE surprised fans at their Broadway pop-up store, creating direct engagement opportunities ahead of their North American tour dates.

The RIIZING LOUD tour launched July 4, 2025, in Seoul and continues through February 23, 2026, in Tokyo, spanning 35 shows across ten countries. The North American leg began October 30 at Rosemont Theatre near Chicago, with upcoming performances at Madison Square Garden's Theater (November 1), Washington D.C.'s Anthem (November 2), and venues in Seattle, San Francisco, and Mexico City.

About RIIZE

The current lineup includes Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Sohee, and Anton. The group debuted September 4, 2023, under SM Entertainment, quickly gaining recognition for their "emotional pop" sound that captures everyday experiences through music.

Their first studio album, Odyssey, released in May 2025, provides the foundation for this world tour-their second major tour following 2024's RIIZING DAY fan concert series.
