Thirty years after the Fugees released The Score, Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean will perform the album's anniversary set together on Central Park's Great Lawn on September 26 - one of the headline draws of a Global Citizen Festival lineup that just grew considerably larger.

Global Citizen announced on September 10 that Alicia Keys & Friends, Victoria Monét, and K-pop act TOMORROW X TOGETHER's Yeonjun and Japanese rock musician Yoshiki have joined the bill, adding to a roster that already included Lenny Kravitz, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Shaboozey and the full TOMORROW X TOGETHER lineup. Hugh Jackman returns as host for the free festival, with Rachel Brosnahan and Gayle King making appearances alongside a slate of speakers that includes Bill Nye and Katie Couric.

The Hill-and-Jean reunion carries its own backstory. The pair spent early August marking the Fugees' 30th anniversary with a pop-up merchandise event in London, and Central Park now becomes the more formal celebration of The Score - the 1996 album that turned the trio into one of the most influential acts in hip-hop before Hill and Jean's collaborations became increasingly rare. Global Citizen is billing the September 26 set specifically as an anniversary performance rather than a full Fugees reunion; group member Pras Michel is not on the announced bill.

"We're thrilled to welcome this amazing lineup of artists from around the world who are generously donating their time to perform on the Global Citizen Festival stage," said Katie Hill, the organization's chief music and entertainment officer. "Some are joining us for the first time, others have supported our movement from the very beginning."

Lainey Wilson falls into the first category. "I believe all of us can do something to make the world a better place, so I'm proud to be performing at the Global Citizen Festival for the first time," the country singer said when the initial lineup was announced. TOMORROW X TOGETHER's appearance follows a similar pattern for K-pop at the festival, which has increasingly folded the genre into lineups built primarily around American pop, R&B and country acts - Yeonjun's solo addition this month puts a member of the group on the bill twice, once with TOMORROW X TOGETHER and once on his own.

Global Citizen Festival doesn't sell tickets in the conventional sense. Entry is earned by completing "Journeys" and "Sprints" - petitions, letters and volunteer actions - through the Global Citizen app, with points redeemable for a chance at free tickets. New this year is an Instant Win option: fans who bank 300 points can claim a code and secure a ticket instantly through a $25 charitable donation rather than entering the standard drawing. Gates open at 2 p.m. on the Great Lawn, with the show beginning at 4 p.m.

The festival's stated 2026 campaign goals are specific: creating school access for 2 million children, supporting 1.5 million smallholder farmers, and helping bring electricity to 2.5 million homes, continuing work the organization says has already turned more than $50 billion in platform commitments into support reaching 1.3 billion people since it began in 2008.

With one week left before the Great Lawn fills, Global Citizen has said more names could still be added to the bill.
