ENHYPEN's 'THE SIN : BLISS' Hits No. 1 on the Billboard 200
ENHYPEN's eighth EP, "THE SIN : BLISS," debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated Sept. 5 - the group's first time atop the chart since it entered at No. 18 with "BORDER : CARNIVAL" in 2021.
The EP earned 98,000 equivalent album units in its first tracking week, according to Billboard: 92,000 from traditional album sales and 6,000 from streaming. Worldwide, "THE SIN : BLISS" has sold more than 2 million copies, ENHYPEN's fifth release to cross that mark. It beat out Ella Langley's "Dandelion" at No. 2 and Olivia Rodrigo's "you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love" at No. 3 for the top spot.
The road to No. 1 ran through three straight No. 2 finishes. ENHYPEN's fourth and fifth EPs, "Dark Blood" and "Orange Blood," peaked at No. 4. "Desire : Unleash" reached No. 3. Both "ROMANCE : UNTOLD" in 2024 and "THE SIN : VANISH" in January stalled at No. 2. "THE SIN : BLISS" is the group's seventh top-10 album since 2022 - and the first to clear the final step.
It's also the first ENHYPEN release as a six-member act. The group reorganized after Heeseung's departure earlier this year, and lead single "Bloody Paradise" has already done work of its own: the track swept all five major Korean weekly music shows - Show Champion, M Countdown, Music Bank, Music Core and Inkigayo - a Grand Slam that only BTS has also managed in 2026, despite the song having just two to three days of tracking in its first week. The EP's B-side, "Two Fools," rounds out the 10-track project.
With the No. 1, ENHYPEN joins BTS, SuperM, Stray Kids, ATEEZ and TOMORROW X TOGETHER as K-pop boy groups that have topped the Billboard 200. On the girl-group side, BLACKPINK, NewJeans, TWICE and KATSEYE have all done the same, alongside the "KPop Demon Hunters" soundtrack, which led the chart earlier this year.
The rest of this week's top five carries its own storylines. Ella Langley and Olivia Rodrigo hold the second and third spots, Morgan Wallen's "I'm the Problem" sits in the top five, and Dolly Parton's greatest-hits collection, "Ultimate Dolly Parton," re-enters at No. 5 following her death on Aug. 25 - her fourth top-10 album.
ENHYPEN is currently on a scheduled break in its BLOOD SAGA World Tour, which opened in Seoul on May 1 and has since stopped in cities across Asia, the U.S. and Latin America, most recently for two nights at Busan's Sajik Arena on Aug. 8 and 9. No new tour dates have been announced since the break began, and the group has not said when the next leg will pick up.
