Two nights, 85,000 fans, 27 songs. And at the end of the second show, an LED screen announcement that sent the crowd into a second round of noise.

2PM completed their Japan 15th Anniversary Concert "THE RETURN" at Tokyo Dome on May 9 and 10, marking the group's first performance at the venue since 2016 - the last Japanese concert before members began mandatory military enlistment. The shows ran over three hours each night, covering the full sweep of the group's Japanese catalog from debut single "Take Off" through Oricon chart-topper "Guilty Love" and closing with "I'll Be Back."

The milestone had a stated history behind it. Ten years ago, before Junho's enlistment officially began the staggered military cycle that would keep 2PM from performing together in Japan for nearly a decade, the members told fans at Tokyo Dome they would be back. Jun. K said after Sunday's show, "I'm beyond happy to stand here again after promising 10 years ago that we would return. 2PM exists because fans stayed by our side." Junho called the reunion "a miracle."

Following the second night, before the house lights came up, the group's next move appeared on the arena's LED screen: 2026 2PM Concert "THE RETURN" in INCHEON, August 8-9 at Inspire Arena. It is 2PM's first full six-member solo concert in South Korea since September 2023.

The Tokyo Dome run was itself a return in multiple senses. The group last performed in Japan as a full lineup at Ariake Arena in October 2023, two years and seven months ago. Before that, the staggered military service schedule meant years without a group show anywhere. The 2016 Tokyo Dome date served as an unofficial farewell. This week functioned as a full reversal of that - same venue, same promise kept.

2PM debuted in South Korea in September 2008 and launched their Japanese career in 2011. Their Japanese fanbase, HOTTEST Japan, sustained the group's local market presence across the enlistment years and drove the demand that filled Tokyo Dome this weekend. Taecyeon told the crowd, "Standing on stage together as six members makes me realize how happy I am. Let's stay together through our 20s, 30s, and even into our 80s."

Ticket details for the Incheon dates have not yet been announced. JYP Entertainment has directed fans to 2PM's official social media channels.
