BTS Plays Stanford Stadium in Four Days. All Three Shows Are Sold Out. Here's What to Know.
The Arirang World Tour lands in the Bay Area this Saturday. May 16, 17, and 19 at Stanford Stadium - all three nights gone. If you have a ticket, the clock is running on parking passes.
Dates and Venue
May 16 (Saturday) - Stanford Stadium, Stanford, CA - 7:00 PM PT
May 17 (Sunday) - Stanford Stadium, Stanford, CA - 7:00 PM PT
May 19 (Tuesday) - Stanford Stadium, Stanford, CA - 7:00 PM PT
Stanford Stadium seats approximately 50,000. The Arirang tour runs a 360-degree in-the-round stage, expanding capacity and placing every section within sightline of the stage. BTS becomes only the second musical act to perform at the venue, following Coldplay's shows there last year.
Tickets
All three nights are sold out through primary ticketing. Resale options remain available:
Ticketmaster Verified Resale - ticketmaster.com (search each date separately; prices and availability differ)
StubHub - FanProtect guarantee covers replacements or 120% refund if tickets fail
SeatGeek - promo code SEATGEEK10 saves $10 on first orders over $150
Of the three nights, Tuesday (May 19) is typically the lowest-priced on resale. StubHub listings have ranged from $250 to over $900 depending on section and date. Social media ticket trades carry real cancellation risk - several fans reported resale tickets for earlier tour stops being voided.
Getting There
Parking passes are required in advance. All fans planning to use Stanford Stadium event lots must purchase a prepaid parking pass through the Stanford Athletics ticketing site (tickets.gostanford.com) by midnight PT on the day of each show. No day-of sales. A Stanford Athletics ticketing account is required to purchase. Limit: four passes per account. All sales final, non-refundable.
Rideshare drop-off: The designated rideshare and drop-off zone is the Wilbur Lot, 660 Escondido Road. Apps route all vehicles to this location - attempting to direct drivers elsewhere will be overridden. The Wilbur Lot is a 20-minute walk to the stadium gates. Fans with mobility needs: ADA golf carts run continuously from Wilbur Lot to Gates 1B and 4 before and after the show. Plan to arrive early.
Public transit: Caltrain runs from San Francisco and San Jose to Palo Alto station, the closest stop to the stadium. VTA Bus Routes 22 and 522 connect to the Stanford campus along El Camino Real.
Bus service: Rally (rally.co/bts-stanford) operates motorcoach service for all three nights, with curbside pickup from multiple Bay Area Rally Points.
What to Expect Inside
The Arirang setlist, drawn from earlier North American tour stops, includes new album tracks "Swim," "2.0," and "Hooligan" alongside catalog hits "Dynamite," "Butter," "Fake Love," "IDOL," and "Mic Drop." The in-the-round stage design means no true "back" section - every seat faces the performance.
No opening acts have been announced for the North American run.
