SHINee's Taemin proved his drawing power in the U.S. market when tickets for his upcoming Las Vegas show disappeared in just 10 minutes on November 25.

Over 200,000 people flooded the ticketing site at 3 AM KST, creating wait times that stretched nearly an hour. By the time the virtual queue cleared, every seat for "TAEMIN Live [VEIL] in Las Vegas" was gone.

The January 16, 2026 concert at Dolby Live at Park MGM marks Taemin's latest U.S. milestone. The venue has hosted major names like Mariah Carey, Bruno Mars, and Maroon 5, and its Dolby Atmos sound system will showcase Taemin's live vocals and choreography.

Building Momentum After Kelly Clarkson Show

The sellout came just days after Taemin performed "Veil" on NBC's "The Kelly Clarkson Show" on November 22. His track had already hit No. 3 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart in September, but the TV appearance brought fresh attention from American audiences.

This isn't new territory for Taemin. His 2024-2025 "Ephemeral Gaze" world tour saw instant sellouts across all five U.S. cities-New York, Chicago, Houston, Oakland, and Los Angeles. Demand was so high that organizers added extra seats in Houston and Los Angeles.

Only Male K-Pop Solo Artist at Coachella 2026

The Las Vegas concert sets the stage for an even bigger moment. In April 2026, Taemin will perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 11 and 18. He's the only male K-pop solo artist on the lineup, joining headliners like Justin Bieber and Sabrina Carpenter.

Before flying to Vegas, Taemin wraps up his Japan arena tour with back-to-back shows in Hyogo on December 24 and 25.

The rapid Las Vegas sellout-combined with his Billboard chart performance and Coachella booking-cements Taemin's position as one of K-pop's most bankable solo acts internationally.
