'Legends Of Tomorrow' Release Date, Spoiler, & More: Is It Sara Vs The Whole Team?
The "Legends of Tomorrow" release date is just more than one week away and slowly but surely, fans are getting a good grip of who will have a bigger storyline in the show.
Sarah Lance (Caity Lotz), a product of League of Assassins, will headline the team that will travel to the past, future, or back and forth to stop Vandal Savage, is easily one of the most likable characters in the show. She is fierce, kick-ass, and conflicted.
While many followers are excited for "Legends of Tomorrow" release date because of White Canary, it seems her teammates might not be that fond of her. With her own mission yet to be established, executive producer Phil Klemmer said she will be at odds with her equally fierce and ill-tempered teammates.
"Her journey on our show is basically learning that she's more than just an assassin," Klemmer told Entertainment Weekly, "Which is a bit of a challenge because she was recruited by Rip for the fact that she is an assassin, and she is a cold-blooded killer, and she doesn't hesitate when she's ordered to pull the trigger, but she definitely has a personal journey that is at odds with her place within the team."
Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) traveled back to the present from the future to assemble a team that will stop the immortal Vandal Savage (Casper Crump). However, the team he comes up with is composed of people with diverse personalities and priorities.
Among them are criminals Heatwave and Captain Cold, happy go lucky Jax Jackson, scientist Dr. Martin Stein, and mystic creatures Hawkgirl and Hawkman.
To sum it up, they are all troubled people meant to work together even if they do not want to.
"Legends of Tomorrow" release date is on January 21 and Lance's plight is the least of the team's concern. In an interview a couple of months ago, Victor Garber called the team a 'dysfunctional family.'
"You have this dysfunctional family all together and traveling through time and trying to combat the worst possible evil history has ever known," he told Variety. "In every situation, every person has their own idea that they think is the best, and Rip Hunter, played by Arthur Darvill, is no exception. He's sort of the captain, but you find out so many things about each one of them as we go on - that's the reason I wanted to be involved in this, because it's really fun.
The actor added, "Like on "The Flash" - and it's part of why I thought "Alias" worked - because they are a family who happen to be superheroes, as they were a family who happened to be spies. That's what, I think, keeps people watching - that connection, and they do that really well on "Legends" as they do on the other shows, and that's what keeps me interested, frankly."
"Legends of Tomorrow" release date was set for Jan. 21, 2006.
