'Strike The Blood' Season 2 Happening In 2016? Kojo To Return With Exceptional Powers?
"Strike the Blood" season 2 may finally get a release date this year, recent speculations suggest.
The latest rumors suggest that the vampires based anime series "Strike the Blood" will get a new season in fall this year. The speculations behind the release date rumors are based on the OVA for the anime.
Last year, a two-part original video animation (OVA) was released, which featured additional content on the storyline of the anime series, My Anime List reported. The OVA had been created by the same studios, Silver Link and Connect with the same director, Hideyo Yamamoto.
Youth Health Magazine reported that the speculations claim that as the OVA had the same staff and publisher like the anime series, it increased the probability of season 2 for "Strike the Blood" anime. It is also rumored that the OVA was an experiment by the creators of the anime series to make decisions for the season 2.
The storyline of the OVA is rumored to be the script for the second season of "Strike the Blood" anime series, where it will reportedly showcase Kojo with exceptional powers and abilities.
The new episodes are also rumored to feature the future of Kojo and Yukina's relationship. Adding that Kojo's relationships with other girls will also be featured as a part of season 2 of "Strike the Blood."
Anime News Network reported that season 1 of the anime series was released in October 2014 and consisted of 24 episodes based on the relationship between the lead characters, Kojo Akatsuki and Yukina Himeragi.
The OVA for the anime series were aired on Nov. 25 and Dec. 23 last year with the title "Strike the Blood: Kingdom of Valkyria."
