George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have been married for more than a year now but the high-profile couple is still children-free.

Various reports have come up in the past couple of months about the pair's desire to start a family already. Celebrity Dirty Laundry even reported that they tried visiting fertility clinics just to get the human rights lawyer pregnant.

"They plan to have a baby within the next year," the gossip site claimed.

However, it seems that Alamuddin's overall health was a huge issue.

"They have had conversations about why they could have trouble conceiving," the article continued. "First off, George is in his mid-50's which means that the volume, mobility, and structure of his sperm will have declined. For her part, Amal is barely 100 pounds. If need be, they will consider outside help such as IVF. They'll do anything to have a baby, and soon!"

Although claims of baby bump sightings were reported by tabloids and gossip sites, Gossip Cop quickly debunked such claims.

In November, a representative of the actor reportedly told the site that the pregnancy news was "completely untrue."

"The story is made up," the rep added.
