'Batman V Superman' Director Zack Snyder Reacts To Leaked Plot, Says He 'Hates' Spoilers
"Batman V Superman" director Zack Snyder finally reacts to the movie's recently leaked spoilers.
Last week, a Reddit user claiming to have attended a test screening for "Batman V Superman" leaked massive spoilers about the film's plot online.
In an interview with MTV News, Snyder weighed in on the topic and shared his frustration about trying to prevent leaks about characters, plot lines and other tidbits about his biggest film to date.
"Of course I hate it when any spoilers come out!" stated the "Man of Steel" helmer. "You design the movie as a story that evolves as you watch it, so moment-to-moment [you're thinking], 'Oh my god, what's going to happen next? Are they gonna live? Are they gonna die?' So you want that experience for the audience, as much as you can."
Snyder explained that while the post that went viral could've affected "Batman V Superman's" ratings ahead of its release, he understands fans' enthusiasm to a point.
"If you're, as an audience member, exploring these articles, looking for answers to questions that you have, maybe you're okay with knowing before you go," Snyder explained. "It's like an individual taste. But like I said, I want people to see the movie without knowing."
He also tackled the issue about the movie's trailer giving away too much, and offered that there's more to the story than what was seen in the preview.
"I have the benefit of seeing the movie," he said. "It's cool that they think it's too much, and I appreciate people not wanting to know, but there's plenty that they don't know. There's a lot of movie that's not in the trailer."
As the movie nears its release this year, fans are anticipating more "Batman V Superman" spoilers to come out in the month's ahead.
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" premieres on March 25.
