Microsoft Lumia 650, Last Of Series? Specs, Design Out Ahead Of Release Date
The design and some specs of Microsoft Lumia 650 were confirmed ahead of its anticipated release date.
The upcoming low-end device's specs were revealed to Venture Beat by notorious gadget leakster @evleaks.
He stated that the Lumia 650 will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset along with a 1GB of RAM. Just like its predecessors, the Lumia 550 and Lumia 640, it packs a 5inch 720 x 1280 LCD display, and has less battery capacity of 2000mah battery.
But @evLeaks noted "one saving grace here is wireless charging functionality."
As for its design, it was described to the website as "very nice fit and finish, appearing even more luxurious in hand than the Lumia 950," but it houses an unimpressive specs.

Venture Beat also noted that the Microsoft Lumia 650 could be the last device from the Lumia series. With that being said, all upcoming mobile devices from the Redmond tech giant will be designed and developed by its Surface division.
Reportedly, Microsoft Lumia 650 has no LTE network support alhough the latest FCC documentation revealed that the smartphone does.
In line with Microsoft Lumia 650's rumored release date of early 2016, IBTimes reported that Cricket Wireless will start selling by April.
Meanwhile, Phone Arena added that previous rumors claim that the last Microsoft Lumia will debut at the Consumer Electronics 2016. However, Microsoft's event at the conference has already concluded and the announcement could take place at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in March.
In another news, Microsoft is pushing the Insider build Windows 10 mobile update next week, Windows Central reported.
"The new criteria will be much closer to our criteria for flighting to our internal rings, which means more builds will pass it and be released externally to the Fast ring."
