Latest NBA All-Star voting results have hosts' Lowry and Derozan outside of Top 5 in East

Want to see Kobe Bryant in the brightest basketball event? Cop a ticket now as the Los Angeles Lakers star and legend still tops the list after the 2016 NBA All-Star voting results were released.

The Black Mamba still lead everyone in the league with 1.26 million votes, 300,000 more than last season's MVP Stephen Curry who got 925,789.

This season is the last for Kobe Bryant who announced late November that he will walk away from the game through a poem.

He said the 2015-16 season, two decades in, "is all I have left to give./My heart can take the pounding/My mind can handle the grind/But my body knows it's time to say goodbye./And that's OK./I'm ready to let you go."

He has been conducting farewell tour since his announcement and he definitely is getting more of those tributes based on the 2016 NBA All-Star voting results.

Other players who made it to the top in second round of 2016 NBA All-Star voting are Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook of Oklahoma City Thunder, and Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors.

Top 5 in the East are Lebron James and Kyrie Irving of Cleveland Cavaliers, Paul George of Indiana Pacers, Andre Drummond of Detroit Pistons, and Dwayne Wade of Miami Heat.

Hassan Whiteside is playing splendid this season but he is only eighth in the frontcourt voting.

Jimmy Butler is fourth among guards in the Eastern Conference with 220,429 votes, John Wall is fifth with 207,274, sixth with 170K, and Derrick Rose, who is mostly injured this season, only has 159,787.

The Toronto Raptors are this year's host but its players are having a hard time making it to the top five of the NBA All-Star voting results. Kyle Lowry is third among guards with 242,276 while DeMar Derozan has a total of 170,539.

In the Western Conference, Blake Griffin is fourth in the frontcourt with 332,223, followed by Kawhi Leonard who got 330,929, and Anthony Davis with 261,491.

In guard position, Chris Paul is third with 268,672, Klay Thompson has 267, 602, and James Harden who got 249,877.

The third round of NBA All-Star voting results will be released on Jan. 14. The 2016 NBA All-Star Game will be held on Feb. 14 at Air Canada Centre.
