Kim Jong Un's New Year's Speech Declares That He Is 'Ready For War'!

The North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un, in his annual New Year's Speech has said that he is ready for war, if provoked by "invasive outsiders". "We will absolutely not accept it if we are bothered by invaders and agitators, even in a minor way. We will respond firmly in the style of a ruthless holy war for justice and unification" Cited Reuters.
The North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un's Fourth annual New Year's speech (since 2011) has revealed that he asked for renewed relations with South Korea while issuing threats to outsiders. The speech came on the heels of the death of North Korea's top official in charge of south Korean Ties, 73 year old Kim Yang Gon who was killed in a traffic incident recently.
Kim Spoke about the needs to increase the political and military might of his country. In his 30-minute televised speech, He said "The year 2015 was a year of gigantic struggle recorded with significant events and eye-opening successes and a year of victory and glory that strikingly demonstrated the dignity and might of socialist Korea", and added that "We will continue to work patiently to achieve peace on the Korean Peninsula and regional stability. But if invasive outsiders and provocateurs touch us even slightly, we will not be forgiving in the least and sternly answer with a merciless, holy war of justice" Cited USA TODAY.
Earlier, in his Speech in October that marked the 70th anniversary of the founding of ruling communist Worker's party, he had said that he was prepared for a war against United States if needed.
And now, Kim Jong Un said that he was also open to talks that meant improved relationships with South Korea. He also accepted his willingness to have talks in an open-minded manner with anybody who likes peace and unity. He also stated that South Korea should honor the spirit of the inter-Korean aggrement and that Seoul should refrain from doing anything that would hurt the conciliatory mood.
