Microsoft Hololens Augmented Reality; Video Launched Prior To Release Date

Microsoft released a video of its Hololens augmented reality devices prior to its release date.
In addition, to being a part of the promotional exercise #MadeWithHololens, these short videos have been made available to create a vision as to what the new devices will offer to the tech world.
Most of these videos are aimed at reducing speculations about the device and give a real insight to the users and the tech world.
The release of the videos came as a surprise during the Windows 10 launch last year where members of the press were taken for a preview.
With no specific release date yet, Hololens program manager Varun Mani has released a footage showing the latest Halo title streaming to the device via Windows 10's inbuilt Xbox One streaming capability, IT Pro UK said.
Microsoft Hololens augmented reality devices are different from other virtual reality sets that create an imaginary world that are actual "Holographic Computer" based on Windows 10 platform.
They are targeted not only to the gamers but also to the professionals like those in the medical field or product marketing. Such professionals will be able to project real world into an augmented reality.
The new augmented reality devices will enable users to shoot and play better video games and also see virtual reality videos like how to fix a broken light or understand medical situations or medical help required, Tech Radar said.
Microsoft Hololens augmented reality prototype was unveiled earlier in 2015.
The "Developer Edition" release date will be in 2016 but the consumer release date is expected to be no sooner than 2017 or even later.
Expected cost of the consumer version is to be around £1,950/$3,000/AU$4,100 for the "Developer Edition".
Most developers are already enthusiastic about the new launch and are looking forward to testing the Microsoft Hololens augmented reality devices.
