The rumored couple Selena Gomez and Niall Horan were reported to have taken a break from dating recently.
It has been awhile since both singers have been photographed together in public. The reason cited for this was the "Good For You" singer's unpreparedness to be in a serious relationship for now and the One Direction member agreed to take her time.
"Selena doesn't want to commit to a relationship and Niall doesn't want to rush her or force her into anything," a source told Hollywood Life. "He doesn't want to give her an ultimatum because he really likes her."
With this alleged decision of the 23-year-old songstress, the One Direction singer reportedly shared that he will already be happy even if it would only be friendship that she could offer him.
Amid this, he still feels that a better relationship will evetually happen once their schedules clear up.
While the dating rumor is still left unconfirmed, it was noted that Selena Gomez and Niall Horan are presently both busy with their individual careers. The former has a world tour starting on May 6.
"He is really taking things very well and believing it will all work out to his advantage in the long run," reported International Business Times.
"So they are not dating right now but it is certainly not out of the woods in the future," the source continued.

Justin Bieber recently talked about how he feels for his ex-girlfriend during an interview with "The Bert Show."
The "Love Yourself" singer said that they have remained good friends despite their on and off relationship and also wished her happiness.
"Maybe we'll come back together in the future and then it ended up being so long and we just grew apart and we're not the same people anymore," he said, as shared by Seventeen Magazine.
The rumored dating couple Selena Gomez and Niall Horan have not commented yet about the issue.
