'Captain America: Civil War' Stars Robert Downey Jr And Chris Evans To Appear In 'Spider-Man'?
Many fans are eagerly anticipating the release of "Captain America: Civil War" that stars Chris Evans as Captain America and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man.
As if the upcoming superhero versus superhero flick still isn't exciting enough for Marvel fans, there are rumors that Spider-Man could also be in the mix.
There are speculations that after the release of "Captain America: Civil War," Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans are purportedly set to make an appearance in an upcoming Spider-Man stand-alone movie.
"While appearing alongside Chris Evans to promote the 'Captain America: Civil War' trailer, Downey regaled the audience with tales of the duo's adventures filming in humid Atlanta, then reminded Evans, 'We are going to shoot in Atlanta again, you and I,'" Vulture wrote in a news report.
"The only Marvel films currently scheduled to film in the ATL are Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy 2," the report continued. "So it looks like Peter Parker will once again share scenes with Captain America and Iron Man in his own stand-alone film."
Details about the production of the upcoming webslinger's movie remain under wraps as producers direct Marvel fans' attention to the release of "Captain America: Civil War."
When the two "Avenger" stars premiered the trailer of the movie in "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in November, Downey admitted that playing the role of Iron Man has been a huge blessing for him.
"The best thing that ever happened to me, it's a great job and I've made great friends," Robert Downey Jr. said as previously quoted by Hollywood Life. "Evans is a very capable guy, chicks dig him too."
Evans, on the other hand, recounted their shooting for the film amid the summer heat in July.
"I loved shooting in Atlanta, but the the humidity was tough," Chris said.
"Captain America: Civil War" starring Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. hits theaters on May 6.
