NBA Trade Rumor: Brandon Jennings Speaks About Talks He'll Leave Detroit Pistons

Brandon Jennings has just returned to the Detroit Pistons squad but it does not take long for him to be dragged into all the NBA trade rumors.

The 26-year-old point guard, who just recovered from ruptured Achilles tendon injury that sidelined him since January last year, is reportedly being targeted by New York Knicks. The NBA trade rumor says the Knicks sees the 6-1 pointguard as a salve to their bleeding point guard dilemma.

In this age of information, these kinds of talks easily reach players and Jennings knows how to deal with it.

"I can't really get away from it because it's all on my Twitter feed every time I tweet something," Jennings told David Mayo of Michigan Live. "But it's rumors. It's something that I'm not worried about. I just want to play basketball and I'm just blessed to be healthy again."

However, when asked if he will finish the season in Motor City, he sends a non-reassuring response.

"We'll see," he said. "I don't know. I hope so. So we'll see."

The NBA trade rumors concerning Jennings first surfaced late December. It said Knicks are willing to wait for Jennings's form to peak since he is just coming off an injury.

"The Knicks, according to a source, have interest in several point guards including Jennings, who finally returned to the lineup after rupturing his left Achilles tendon nearly 11 months ago," New York Daily News wrote. "That's a red flag right there. Jennings went 2-for-4 with seven points and four assists in 17 minutes in his season debut."

As for Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy, he believes Jennings will be be able to return his top game shape soon.

"Oh yeah, I don't think there is any doubt," he said. "Brandon is coming back well off of the injury and he's a guy who just absolutely loves to play, loves to be in the gym. He's still young, he's still 26. I don't think there's any doubt he'll be."
