Reality TV has long been criticized for being unapologetic about the level of "scripted drama" that producers create.

So far it looks like "UnREAL" is once again poised to offer another satirical look at the industry in season two, this time with racial issues as a centerpiece.

Several "UnREAL" season two spoilers were revealed today by producers from the series during a Television Critics Association press tour. According to reports, the new season will focus on a Black American football star as the main bachelor.

Executive producer Sarah Gertrude Shapiro explained that "UnREAL" season two will focus on the controversy of their first Black bachelor.

"There are a few things more pressing than this conversation. I've heard appalling things about race all the time while being a producer," said Shapiro (via Variety).

It's of note that "UnREAL" appears to be more progressive than the shows that it portrays as "The Bachelor" has yet to have any bachelors of color. Nevertheless, "UnREAL" season two's bachelor will be named Darius Hill, who is an "All-American football star." Casting for the role is currently underway.

Additional new roles that were announced are the Bachelor's cousin named Romeo, who is described as "street-smart and savvy," Coleman, a new producer for "Everlasting," and several new contestants named Yael, Tiffany, Ruby, Bethann, and Chantal.

For those interested in what will be happening with returning cast members, Chet (played by Craig Bierko) will be on a new quest to reclaim his full power over "Everlasting." Most importantly however, it appears that Jeremy (played by Josh Kelly) will be out for blood against Rachel for her behavior at the end of the last season.

"He's coming back pretty angry and gunning for Rachel," said the Executive Producers of "UnREAL."

Currently there's no official "UnREAL" season two release date, but it looks like it will be just as interesting as the first season.
