Lorde ‘Quietly Excited About 2016’- Is Her New Album Close To Being Released This 2016?
2013 marked the year when Lorde hit the mainstreams with her acclaimed debut record "Pure Heroine."
And two years following her breakthrough record, it seemed like her new album is about to hit the shelves this year after revealing that she has already decided on the title of her record.
The two-time Grammy Awards winner took to Twitter and posted a teaser to fans about her new album.
"Whispered the album name to my mum in the car today," the 19-year old singer posted on her Twitter page, courtesy of Daily Mail.
As such, Lorde's recent tweet, hinting on details of her much anticipated new album, sent her Twitter followers raving about it.
"Quietly excited about 2016," she further wrote on Twitter, which could have given her fans more affirmation that Lorde's album may be released this year, as claimed by Unreality TV.
In September, it was noted that although the singer has not announced an official release date (let alone hinting that it'll drop this 2016), she has been remarkably writing her new songs for her album pretty quickly.
"We haven't got some planned out 'this is what it's going to sound like,'" she said in an interview, courtesy of the Inquisitr.
"I think we're just going to start writing and when it starts to feel right, we'll know that it's right. It's pretty simple really," she added.
It was also said that Lorde didn't really have a focal point of inspiration to draw from, but rather she attributed the source of her creativity and inspiration from her various experiences.
"I don't know where the inspiration comes from for stuff," she explained.
"You work and at some point you feel you suck for the first 10 hours and in the last hour in the studio something great happens. You just never know when it's going to come."
