Music fans and hardcore rockers ought to turn their nostalgia switches "on" as 2000's breathrough Nu-metal band Korn is reportedly releasing a new album this 2016.

It's also reported that they are "definitely bringing it back to fans."

"It's definitely bringing it back to the integrity of KORN," bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu said in an interview with Jack Antonio for "Do You Know Jack?" radio show, courtesy of Blabbermouth.

"It's everything that you would think we would sound like," he added.

Korn's drummer Ray Luzier mentioned in an interview that the band's upcoming album, which they target to be released this 2016, is "heavy and ruthless" and that it constantly gave him goosebumps every time he listens to their new recorded songs.

"Everyone always likes to say this is the best record they've been working on, but I just came from the studio," he said, courtesy of the Las Vegas Sun.

"We have a long way to go, but every time I hear it, I get chills. I love 'The Paradigm Shift', I'm a huge fan of that record, but I didn't get chills every time I heard that record," he added.

"This I literally get goose bumps, and that's a great thing because that's what you want as an artist to get those kinds of feelings," he further stated.

In a separate interview with Blabbermouth, Luzier teased that the new album of Korn is going to be "ruthless" and "heavy."

"Right now it's really heavy and ruthless, which is my favorite," the drummer promised courtesy of Blabbermouth.  Who knows what's going to happen later. Heavy is definitely a good word, but it's too early to tell everything right now, so I'll just leave it at that."

Meanwhile, guitarist Brian "Head" Welch was kind enough to assure their fans that Korn is aiming to have their new album released most likely by fall of this year.

"My guess is the fall... We've got to take time off and go away for a little bit. We never go away for long," he said, via Ultimate-Guitar.
