Exynos 8890 Chipset Details Discussed! All Set To Power Lenovo And Meizu Devices

In 2016, Samsung is all set to give another round of upgrades to its phones with its latest Exynos 8890 chipset by using Samsung's Mongoose architecture.
The Korean mobile company launched its exuberant flagship mobiles, Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, with its homegrown Exynos octa-core that already demonstrated its prowess in the smartphones market, said Tech Firstpost.
The company claimed that the new processor provided up to 30 percent improvement in performance and up to 10 percent efficiency in enhancing its power.
The new Exynos 8 Octa comes with an LTE Rel.12 Cat.12/13 modem that allows maximum download speeds of up to 600Mbps (Cat.12) and upload speeds of up to 150Mbps (Cat.13) with carrier aggregation, stated NDTV Gadgets.
It is mostly expected that upcoming model, Samsung Galaxy S7, will be powered by the new Exynos 8890 chipset.
However, Samsung will be geographically choosey in selecting its customers for the new enhanced models bearing Exynos 8890 chipsets.
US and Chinese users are reportedly getting the Snapdragon 820 version of the Galaxy S7, while Korean and European markets are getting the Exynos 8890 variant of the smartphones, said WCCF Tech.
The Korean manufacturer will introduce its Exynos 8890 chipset promised to provide frequencies of 2.3GHz on its devices.
An extremely impressive feat as compared to any other chipsets available in any of the smartphone devices to date. The chipset is also rumored to be extremely capable of handling complex applications and multimedia playback at higher frequencies.
Samsung's Exynos 14nm FinFET for mobile processors has already been incorporated in various devices from companies like Qualcomm and Apple with Huawei being next in the line of adopting the same.
Meanwhile, two of the major players in the gadget industry Lenovo and Meizu are all set to source Exynos 8890 chipset from Samsung.
Meizu is most likely going to implement the Exynos 8870 chipset in its upcoming flagship phone - the Meizu Pro 6, stated MyDrivers.
