Scott Cawthon Says 'FNAF World' Will Have 'A Few Different Ways To Beat The Game'
2016 is finally here and now it's time to address all of the vague release dates that claimed "sometime in 2016."
Unfortunately, video game creator Scott Cawthon has never been good with release dates anyway.
The "FNAF World" release date is still shrouded in mystery, but Scott Cawthon has updated fans on the progress of the game in Steam announcement post. In addition to revealing several elements he wanted to add to the game, Cawthon also confirmed there will be several endings that fans can expect in the game.
After making a joke about the 2016 expected release date, Cawthon revealed the elements he had planned for the upcoming release of "FNAF World."
"It's become a bigger game than I'd first planned it to be, but that's a good thing! I'm busy adding power-ups and shops, as well as a few different ways to beat the game," said Cawthon.
In addition to the alternative endings, Cawthon also mentioned that he was working on new enemies.
"I'm also busy creating secret bosses. Since I'm still planning on this being the last FNaF game, I want it to be a really great experience," he explained.
Though it may seem disappointing that "FNAF World" is to be the last game in the "Five Nights at Freddy's" franchise, there's still more adaptations of the series planned. Specifically, a movie adaptation is reported to be in development and the novel, "Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes," was recently released in the Amazon Kindle store.
"FNAF World" was announced last year in September on Steam, and will be a departure from the normal point and click horror-style of the previous games. Instead, the game will be an RPG battle-style game that features all versions of the animatronics that appeared in the previous games.
