New 'Ghostbusters 3' Villains Revealed! Melissa Mccarthy Worried About Internet Trolls?
Melissa McCarthy is worried about internet trolls because of the villains to be featured in the upcoming "Ghostbusters 3" movie?
The latest update on the film reveals an information about the ghost villains that the lead characters of the movie are reportedly going to encounter.
Entertainment Weekly reported that the cast of the film "Ghostbusters 3" will have to fight dead criminals from different periods of time in New York.
"Pilgrims, old-timey sailors, Revolutionary War spirits, and even a couple of zoot-suited gangsters are ready to take on four formidable female busters looking to rid the city of its phantasmic filth," quoted Dread Central.
There are rumors that Melissa McCarthy is a bit worried about the internet trolls, who will cause havoc if the new villains fail to impress the audiences.
She felt that the original "Ghostbuster" movie with Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd has raised the bar high. The 45-year-old comedian said that if this new villain strategy fails, the film reboot will just be another movie, nothing exceptional.
"If this doesn't work, we go back and lose our [right to] vote. I'm talking presuffragette," she joked as reported by Metro.
The plot of the movie is supposed to revolve around Erin Gilbert (Kristin Wiig) and Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy), who wrote a book about the existence of ghosts.
The ghosts will be shown invading New York City and creating menace. This is where the rest of the Ghostbuster force like Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon) and Patty Tolan (Leslie Jones) with Erin and Abby team up together to fight the evil and save Big Apple.
While the "Ghostbusters 3" film will feature new lead characters, IMDb listed that original cast members including Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts are returning for a cameo.
Sony Pictures's "Ghost Busters 3" is all set for a July 15, 2016, release.
