'Doctor Strange' Spoilers: Benedict Cumberbatch Gets His New Hideout Place 'Sanctum Sanctorum'
Benedict Cumberbatch's "Doctor Strange" character is all set to get a new hideout place called, "Sanctum Sanctorum" like all other superheroes who owned a secret shelter, according to Coming Soon.
The latest concept art released by Marvel for the "Doctor Strange" movie revealed the secret hiding place for the superhero to be portrayed by the "Sherlock" actor.
Cinema Bend reported that Sanctum Sanctorum will be the headquarters of the mystical doctor. The hideout will look like a townhouse, but actually, it's a magical sanctuary with unique and mysterious objects. The details from the comics reveal that the place is located in New York City's Greenwich Village on Bleeker Street.
Sanctum Sanctorum, as seen in the concept art, is portrayed to consist of large optical window called, "Eye of Agamotto."
It will also feature Doctor Strange's meditation room and wil also include "The Chamber of Relics," which will consist of Doctor Strange's Cloak of Levitation, Blastr reported.
President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige earlier revealed that the Cloak of Levitation and Eye of Agamotto will be shown as Doctor Strange's two signature pieces.
"In this film, the Eye is a very important relic that can be quite dangerous if used in the wrong hands, because it has the ability to do any number of things, the most dangerous of which is, it can sort of manipulate probabilities," said Feige as reported by Collider.
The storyline for the movie is based on Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange character. The movie will show how Stephen Strange discovered the hidden magic world with his supernatural skills and new magnitude of energy level after he experienced a near-to-death experience.
Gizmodo reported that the movie will also feature Rachel McAdams as the Surgeon, Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One, Mads Mikkelsen as the main villain and Chiwetel Ejiofor as a fellow sorcerer.
