'Life Is Strange' Season 2 Possible Due To The Game’s Great Success?
"Life is Strange" season 2 might be possible due to the game's great success, according to PC Games N.
The success of "Life is Strange" came as a surprise to the game developers, Dontnod Entertainment.
They were the ones who were behind "Remember Me," a game that some were not that fond of. They have delivered a game that had a better story and tackled subjects that some video games have barely tried out before.
In an interview, game directors Michel Koch and Raoul Barbet discussed about their recent success of the game. International Business Times asked how it felt having a success like "Life is Strange" and if it anyway it affected the development of the team.
"At first the success was quite surprising," answered the directors. "We knew that we wanted to make this game and tell the story of those characters, but we tried to shy away from over-thinking things. Of course now we are extremely happy to see we found that there is a real broad market for this kind of 'different' project."
They continued, "There is motivation and confidence within the teams, a lot of strength and a real will to push further in this direction. We will try to learn from what we did, improve where we can and continue in this direction to push the genre."
In another interview, Dontnod co-founder, Alain Damasio has confirmed that there might be a possibility of "Life Is Strange" season 2 in the future, according to Gamespot.
"I worked as a script doctor on Life is Strange, developed by the studio Dontnod, and I will participate on 'Life is Strange 2' later," said Damasio.
Koch has also added that "Life is Strange" season 2 would feature a new cast of characters if it will be created in the future.
"We can really go with other characters, other locations, but still keep the identity of the game, the themes of the game," said Koch.
