Windows 10 OS Used In Alcatel One Touch 8-Inch Tablet; The End Of Android?

Alcatel has unveiled its new line of tablets featuring the latest Windows 10 operating system. The OneTouch unit was announced at CES 2016.
According to Mashable, products under the category are Idol3 and Idol 3 4.7 smartphones. They were well received in 2015 and the company is launching its first tablet that runs on windows 10 OS and a few other products (children's GPS tracker watch and a line of PIXI 4 products) this year.
Previously, the company focused mainly on Android-based smartphones. But now, it is about to launch its first tablet that features a different operating system.
The Alcatel One Touch 8-inch Tablet will run in Windows 10 OS, featuring voice-call enablement, GPS and both front and rear cameras. It could also be used as a TV remote control which is also available on PIXI 8 tablet. It comes in various skin colors and customized flip stand covers.
There are no details pertaining to the specs of PIXI 4 series yet. But it is likely that they include a 3.5 inch and 4-inch smartphones, a 6-inch phablet and a 7-inch tablet.
iDigitalTimes notes that the Alcatel OneTouch didn't pass the opportunity to unveil new products on their own. Surprisingly, the 8-inch PIXI 3 tablet running windows 10 mobile instead of the usual Android OS, is the one device that will certainly gain attention. Since this is just a pre-announcement, the company didn't reveal much about the device w.r.t it specs or features, but just gave out a few minute descriptive details.
The company has said that the tablet will feature an entry level design, meaning it wont be an expensive product.
In addition to the Alcatel OneTouch Windows 10 tablets and smartphones, the company is also releasing its CareTIme Children's Watch- a GPS tracking device that enables parents to keep a track of their children's location and make sure they don't enter or exit a predetermined safe zone.
