With Adele's "25" making 2015 a great year for music fans, it is expected that 2016 would be another amazing year with the release of Frank Ocean's new album.

Frank Ocean has disappointed his fans after having announced of his new album's possible release last Jul. 23, reported Yakima Herald.

However, 2015 ended with no news about the highly-anticipated musical offering. The singer has, in fact, been mum about whether he is actually making "Boy Don't Cry."

With no information yet on his upcoming work, fans are eagerly awaiting to hear something from their favorite singer.

Frank Ocean's last and debut album, "Channel Orange," was released in 2012. While people have yet to know any details of his new album, many fans have not lost patience in waiting for his offering. This kind of long-wait proved disastrous for many singers in the past, noted Bustle.

One of the tracks from Frank Ocean's last album entitled "Thinkin' Bout You" is one fine example of why fans could not forget him. And as Bustle puts it, the song is an anthem at any stage of a person's life.

"I've listened to it in the early stages of a relationship, during a breakup, on a run, or in the background at a party, and I'll be damned if it doesn't hold up in every single situation. Pretty much every song on the album is the same way," notes Alexis Rhiannon for Bustle.

Meanwhile,  Adele noted last month, after the release of her album "25," that she can't wait anymore to listen to Frank Ocean's new album.

"I'm just f**king waiting for Frank f**king Ocean to come out with his album. It's taking so f**king long. That sounds so stupid, coming from me, doesn't it?" said Adele during her interview with Rolling Stone.
