'Batman V Superman' News: Test Screening May Have Revealed The Green Lantern Actor
In "Batman V Superman" news, the actor for DCEU's Green Lantern may have been revealed in a recent test screening for the film.
A fan claiming to have attended the "Batman V Superman" screening recently posted details of the film online. The accuracy of the leak is yet to be established, although frequent superhero film scoopster Umberto Gonzales of Heroic Hollywood claimed that a screening did take place.
According to Screen Rant, the leak said that DC's Extended Universe will introduce Dan Amboyer as Hal Jordan, who will later on become Green Lantern.
Amboyer's resume primarily consists of theater roles, although he has sixteen screen roles under his belt, most of which involve minor productions. His best known role was playing Prince William in Hallmark's "William and Catherine: A Royale Romance."
If the rumors prove true, Amboyer's Green Lantern will be the sixth Justice League member known to appear in the film. Cinema Blend claimed that fans will be treated to a fully assembled team in the "last third of the movie," as The Flash, Aquaman and Green Lantern team up with Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman battle against Lex Luthor's drone army.
The movie features Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jeremy Irons as Aflred J. Pennyworth, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
"Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs," reads the official synopsis published by Collider. "And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before."
Warner Bros. has given the "Batman V Superman" an official March 25, 2016 release date.
