GoPro Hero 4 Session Price Drops Confirmed; Amount Sliced In Half!
GoPro Inc's smallest camera, the Hero4 Session is available at its cheapest best at a price of $199.99(which is almost half of its original starting price). It wasn't making good progress in the sales by far. It has been experiencing a weak consumer demand due to its higher price (initially) and following strong consumer feedback, the company decided to reduce its price by $100.
As cited by The Motley Fool, GoPro Inc's CEO, Nick Woodman has said ""We believe we priced the product too high at $399, which caused consumer confusion where they were asked to decide between the HERO4 Silver, also priced at $399."
The GoPro Hero 4, a tin cube shaped gadget is a more versatile one that can fit into narrower spaces allowing mounting options too. However, the major flaw was its price. Now after the reduced price, it should make a worthy purchase for the season. According to Techtimes, the Hero 4 Session's product page reads "HERO4 Session packs the power of GoPro into our smallest, lightest, most convenient camera yet, featuring a rugged and waterproof design, easy one-button control, revolutionary battery efficiency, 1080p60 video and 8MP photos."
The GoPro Hero 4 Session camera is available in two colors: Black and Silver. It can shoot quality footage (including underwater footage). Weighing 2.6oz, the tiny cube shaped device is capable of doing an underwater coverage up to 33 feet without any additional housing. It can shoot 1080 pixels video at 60 fps. It also supports slow motion and 4:3 modes of capturing but does not come with 4K or 2.7K support or an LCD.
8 MP wide angle and/or 5 MP medium resolution images can be captured, while the Burst and lapse mode allows only 10 shots per second.
As far as it dimensions are concerned, the Hero 4 Session camera measures less than 1.5 inches (on each side) boasting impressive features for such a size. This user-friendly camera is Wi-Fi enabled.
